Minimum qualifications
- General IT training (general and vocational college degree, bachelor’s degree)
- At least two years’ relevant technical experience in Microsoft environments (Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, etc.)
- Al least one Microsoft certification (MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, etc.)
Other prerequisites
- Driver’s license and a car
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
Assets
Preferred certifications
- Microsoft: MCSE (2000/2003) and/or MCSA (2000/2003), MCTS and/or MCITP (Exchange 2007, Sharepoint, Windows Server 2008, etc.)
- Citrix CCA, CCEA, etc.
Certification or strong skills in the following:
- SonicWall, CISCO, Checkpoint, etc.
- Microsoft Exchange Server (2000, 2003, 2007)
- Microsoft Sharepoint
- Microsoft System Center / MOM / SMS
- Windows Terminal Server and Citrix products
- Microsoft ISA Server 2004/2006
- Virtualization (Microsoft and VMWare)
- CompTIA certifications
Additional relevant experience is welcome (Novell, GFI, Symantec, Linux, SQL Server, etc.)
